Simulaids Alex IV Arm (Light or Medium Skin Tone)

The Simulaids Alex IV Arm is designed to simulate IV administration training when used with the ALEX training manikin. The arm features realistic vinyl skin and latex veins for easy IV administration. The skin on the arm rolls while a vein is palpated during syringe insertion. A characteristic pop can be experienced while administering the needle just like the real skin. Plus, a realistic flashback can occur during needle insertion.

It pivots at the elbow for easy accessibility to veins, such as the antecubital fossa, any vein along the arm, or at the back of the hand. There is a bony landmark at the shoulder that helps identify muscle tissue for administering intramuscular injections. The arm is available in light and medium options.
