The Kong Energy Absorbers are designed to reduce the impact force and the risk injuries for falling personnel. The energy is absorbed mainly by the tearing of the webbing present inside the energy absorber and the elastic sling if it is added in the system. The energy absorber is present inside a mesh pouch with Velcro that protects it from abrasion and allows regular verification of the absorber's condition with stress indicator.

The Kong Energy Absorbers are CE certified and conform to health, safety, and environmental protection standards. They are widely used in work activities like portable stairs, elevating platforms, scaffolding, trestels, roof and inclined planes, and metal structures.
