How to Use the Test:
Knock the closed ampoule several times against a hard surface. By doing the granules sticking to the inside of the ampoule wall will fall downwards. Remove and sealing cap and open the ampoule like this: Taking the top of the ampoule between the thumb and index finger, and the lower part of the ampoule in the left hand, just snap off at the fracture line by applying pressure to the side.
There are two ways to finish the test:
One can evaluate the color change in the test after 1-2 minutes. Further elapse of time produces only a slight color change.
NOTE: For both methods, it is recommended to use a clean spatula.
STORAGE: The ampoules should be protected from light and temperatures over 35 ºC. (95F).
SAFETY: Keep the ampoules out of the reach of children. In case, the crystals come in contact with the eyes, skin or clothes, the affected areas have to be rinsed with water.
DISPOSAL: Since the MMC Tests does not require acid neutralizers, we recommend to dispose the test ampoules into the bottle bank, trash or glass bin. Or in accordance with the waste disposal regulations current in the country use.
