The Fingernail and Fingertip Swabbing Evidence Collection Kit serves the investigating and forensic experts with all the necessary components for gathering and preserving the fingertips and nails for accurate DNA extraction. The kit is used in collection of evidence in a scenario where there's a possibility of scratch or wound on the assailant’s skin. The evidence is collected and stored in a sealed kit envelope to prevent it from theft or tampering.

It contains cotton tipped swabs to quickly absorb even small drops and particles of the trace specimen. The kit comprises of 5 cc sterile water to be mixed with the swabs for precise cleaning before usage and a kit instruction sheet to clearly state necessary information for the investigative procedure.
