The Fingernail Scraping Evidence Collection Kit comprises of all the essential components used for collecting broken and remaining fingernails to be used as a source for accurately extracting DNA and comparing it with that of victim. The kit also consists of paper bindle envelopes for safely keeping nail samples and plastic fingerprint scrapers for peeling off cuticles and remaining nail pieces from the subject's fingers.

It lends an easy to use and time saving method of collecting small nail samples in case the subject attempts to protect himself whilst a physical attack or sexual assault and accidently breaks its nail. The instruction sheet is used to comprehensively explain all the steps to be followed and caution to be taken while performing a detailed investigation.
