The Garrett Super Scanner V Hand-Held Metal Detector was designed originally for use at the 1984�s Olympic Games. It provides a highly sensitive scanning that allows for thorough and quick scans reducing the waiting time of people. Featuring a single 9 volt battery, it provides up to 100 hours of normal operation while the optional NiMH rechargeable battery provides up to 45 hours when only charged once.
