The manikin consists of a figure of a young teenager and it is designed to practice techniques for saving lives. Students can practice the procedures to improve their understanding about how each technique is properly done The Life/form Deluxe Child CRiSis Manikin with Advanced Airway Management features a blood pressure arm, defibrillation chest skin, femoral access leg, intraosseous infusion, IV arm, palpable carotid pulse (manual), laryngospasms (manual) and tongue edema (manual). It also includes an Arrhythmia Simulator that recreates 17 adult heart rhythms and 17 pediatric rhythms. You can also simulate cardioversion with manual, semiautomatic, or automatic defibrillation. The manikin has a realistic anatomy and includes a mouth, tongue, oral pharynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, vocal cords, trachea, and esophagus. Allowing a real jaw thrust feature, the Deluxe Child CRiSis Manikin also features articulated head, neck and jaw.
