Life/form Working Necrotic Ostomy Care Training Model
The Life/form Working Necrotic Ostomy Care Training Model is a medical training model designed to help healthcare professionals learn how to care for patients with ostomies. The model simulates a patient with a necrotic stoma, which is a condition where the skin around the stoma has died due to poor blood supply or infection. It allows an instructor to demonstrate and lets medical students practice various ostomy care procedures, such as cleaning and dressing the stoma and surrounding skin, applying ostomy pouches, and managing complications like leakage or skin irritation
It comes packed with a model, display easel, syringe, simulated stool, and instruction manual. The syringe allows the pumping of simulated stool, which can be varied in consistency using water and can be reused for repeated practice. It is manufactured from soft and pliable material to provide tactile feedback and provide lifelike functions and appearance.
