Simulaids Male and Female Catheterization Model

The Simulaids Male and Female Catheterization Model allows students to practice and learn about human urinary catheterization. It uses anatomically accurate models that enable students to locate and practice preparing the patient for the operation. These models are made of soft, flesh-like material that offers a realistic feel and flexibility. Both the male and female catheterization models make use of a 16 FR catheter. Mounted on individual training stands, they are often used to show balloon inflation procedures. On completion of the insertion procedure, a fluid reservoir outputs urine. These life-like models are used as a tabletop or for patient simulation, to teach sterile technique, and insertion and removal of catheter.
