Methyl Cellulose
The Methyl Cellulose is a chemical compound that is derived from cellulose. It is a white powder in pure form that dissolves in cold water, forming a gel or clear solution. It can be used as mild glue which can be washed away with water easily. It is usually used in the fixation of delicate pieces and as a binder in medications. It is used in health care medical training with the Life/form NG Tube and Trach Skills Simulator, Life/form Pericardiocentesis Simulator, and Life/form Chest Tube Manikin.
