The Laerdal Male Wound Care Assessment Set is a highly efficient and life-like training manikin that is meant to teach students about various wound care methods in male patients. It has a lacerated hand with forearm surgical incision and painted sutures that creates a realistic scenario for students to learn better. Different modules can be attached with the manikin for different training requirements.

It has various modules including a chest surgical incision module, abdominal packing module, abdominal incision module with painted sutures, thigh packing and irrigation module, thigh suture module with nylon sutures and thigh debridement module. A below elbow and knee amputation stump is also provided for efficient practice. The durable and rugged design of the manikin can withstand years of use.
