Arachnipod Advantage BASIC Edge Management Tripod

Based around the concept of an industrial tripod, the Ferno Arachnipod Advantage BASIC Edge Management Tripod captures multi-functional capabilities and is much more than just a tripod. Awarded an Australian International Design Mark at the 2008 Design Awards, it is the world’s most versatile modular total edge management system (TEMS). The Components can be added or removed to complement the existing structural and natural features. Featuring simplicity and robust engineering, this TEMS can be easily adjusted into multiple configurations, providing a safe and cost effective management tripod.

In its basic form, the Arachnipod is a tripod or quadpod. However, for rope rescue technicians, it can evolve into an advanced edge management system that includes bipods, A-Frames, monopods, ginpole/ monopole, and bridge system. Approved to CE Standard EN 795B, it can work as an ideal system for workers in industries such as rescue and emergency services, construction, military, utility services, mining, film and maintenance.

The Advantage Basic system consists of a standard head tripod along with 2 rigging points. A quadpod can be formed by addition of the appropriate Quadpod Add-On Kit to the base system.

The Arachnipod Basic EDGE is constructed to allow the unit to be set up as a “flat-front” edge tripod.
