The Ruth Lee MK2 Oscar Man Overboard Water Rescue Manikin is an adult-size manikin manufactured to simulate an unconscious casualty in water, floating at an angle of 45 degrees with just head and shoulders above water. Fashioned in orange, this rugged man-overboard dummy features realistic size and weight distribution. With a color-coded head and a yellow face, it is specifically designed to suit various training situations. It can be made to float horizontally by removing 6 foam pieces from the front chest of the protective overall and adding three pieces to the pockets on each leg. Furthermore, the Ruth Lee MK2 Oscar Man Overboard Water Rescue Manikin-GEN2 is designed with durable plastic strips that run from the shoulder area to the knee joint. Due to these SOLAS reflective strips, the manikin maintains its flexibility, but does not bend in half, and thus facilitates rescue using water stretchers. It comes with a rugged outer carcass constructed of heavy duty nylon open mesh reinforced with a polypropylene webbing. The outer carcass is constructed of heavy duty open mesh reinforced with webbing. Non-absorbent closed cell foam - water absorption : 1 Day < 0.1 (DIN 53428 1986) 28 Days < 0.5% VOL.
