Made in the USA, these blue training magazine simulators are a great tool for training in the safe handling of firearms. They are available in two options; Standard Weight and True Weight. The true-weight magazine trainers incorporate additional steel weight that is apportioned and balanced throughout the magazine during the manufacturing process. Therefore a True Weight SIG magazine feels like a fully loaded magazine in weight and balance. The standard weight magazine's weight is dependent on the density of the polymer material used to mold the magazine.

These blue training magazines have no moving parts and cannot be loaded with ammunition as they are molded solid. These blue dummy magazines can be inserted into a real firearm and lock in place but they cannot be inserted into the Blue Training Gun. Also they are manufactured and molded with the magazine follower in the depressed position so that the slide does not lock back on the real firearm. This design is intended as it mimics a “loaded” magazine for practicing clearing mis-fires and jams. Applications for the use of training magazines include; mag change scenarios, freeing jams, handling mis-fires, transport, storage, personal carry methods and the safe identification of a real gun gun in "Training Mode"
