The Simulaids 069 ALS Trauma Head is designed to train students in airway management by replicating numerous trauma situations including anaphylactic shock and laryngospasm. Used in conjunction with ALS trainer by Simulaids, the trauma head model includes swelling of tongue and vocal cords. The trainer model works successfully with all types of suction units, and simulates internal and external bleeding. The ALS trauma head by Simulaids accepts Combitube, E.O.A., E.G.T.A. airways, P.T.L. airways, and L.M.A. airways. It can also be used to perform cricothyrotomy. The additional features of this superb training aid include oral and nasal airways for intubation, bag valve mask ventilation, and delivery of supplemental oxygen. It can be used with the Simulaids ALS trainer, adult airway trainer, and BLS trainer.
