The Simulaids 715 Intermediate Wound "Flake" is a fake wound resembling a gun shot with tiny blood flakes around it. It is a part of the casualty simulation kit used for training purposes to give a realistic touch to the training experience to the students and professionals to practice care of flake intermediate wound. It can be applied on manikins and on human volunteers to give a realistic feel to the crisis situation and to train them on how to deal with such situations.

This is painted on a very lightweight plastic with light spots all around the wound. It acts as a replacement part for a bleeding wound on the casualty and generally forms a part of the simulation kit. The moulage wound works with most Simulaids manikins.
