The Simulaids IV Training Arm and Hand Combo Pack is designed to demonstrate various medical techniques and procedures relating to starting IVs and venipuncture. Made of supple PVC material, the IV arm and hand imitates the look and feel of the human skin. Students and professionals can perform detailed exercises on life-like models and master venipuncture before administering actual patients. It can be an ideal tool to demonstrate sterile technique, taping and securing technique, sharps injury protection and withdrawal or infusion procedures. Both the hand and arm are made for longer, and repeated use. Once the vein is located and needle is inserted, simulated blood can be withdrawn or fluid injected into the IV training arm and hand. This combo pack is also available in African-American skin tint, which assist students and medical personnel with detailed and comprehensive understanding of venipuncture and injections procedure while dealing with casualties/patients with a slightly darkish skin tone.
