The Simulaids Sucking Chest Wound is designed for inclusion as a replacement part in the EMT casualty simulation kit. This unique strap-on wound moulage allows practice in caring of bleeding wounds and aid to provide a realistic training environment for EMTs, paramedic, nurses, and emergency medicine professions. This bleeding strap-on moulage can be applied to victim volunteers and manikin patients to create more realism in the training session. It is designed to replicate the sucking wound of the chest. This sucking chest wound is also available in African-American skin texture, in order to aid in wound care practice when dealing with casualties having a slightly darkish skin tone.
