The Steiner Offset Tactical Aiming Lasers-IR has been designed specifically for the M-4 platform. It is purpose-built for secret night operations and is designed in a manner, which allows it to be mounted forward of night vision sights without even obstructing them. Its laser emitter is offset from the center axis, in order to project it around the front iron sight. It is powered by a single AA battery.

The Steiner Offset Tactical Aiming Lasers-IR is preferably suited for shot placement using night vision sights or for target designation using optical night vision devices. Featuring a lightweight and low-profile design with an infrared laser, which when used with night vision devices can easily engage targets out to 250 meters. The quick release HT mount fits any NATO 1913 or Picatinny rail.
