Rescue Tech Swiftwater Rescue Curtain
The Rescue Tech Swiftwater Rescue Curtain is designed to provide a multipurpose tension diagonal grab method to use in moving water. Designed for fast deployment grab, the rescue curtain stays on the top of the water and offers a large grab area for the troubled victims. This allowing rescuers to position it within the width of a channel to save a victim who is not able to help himself in water. When used with a tension diagonal, the rescue curtain works with the current to hold the victim as he/she is pulled to shore. This reduces the amount of force the victim needs to employ to hold onto a device while being safely pulled out of the current to the shore.
This is attached to the rescue rope with carbines (not included). The moving water situations for the rescue curtain includes tension diagonals, pulling victims onto a boat, float in a low head dam and pull to shore, and hang from a bridge (downstream).
