ACH/MICH LE High Cut Ballistic Helmet with the US military design featuring a low profile compact helmet with minimum target area and weight. Features United Shield International's Omega Harness comfort system. Helmet is cut above the ear for ease of communications.This Helmet offers improved head stability with a 4 point adjustable harness, suede covered chin cup and nape strap.The ACH/MICH MIL helmet has ballistic performance to NIJ0106.01 and HP White 0401.01. Shock absorption against low velocity impact EN397 multi hit capability. Fragmentation performance to US ACH Mil Spec .

Ballistic ProtectionUnited shield offers a broad range of helmet constructions to suit threat and weight performance criteria.The ACH/MICH LE High Cut helmet is available to meet NIJ level IIIA to NIJ 0106.01Fragmentation ProtectionProtection against fragments V50 700m/sec (2300 fps) according to STANAG 2920 (17gr FSP) and US MIL STD 662F.Also meets or exceeds US MIL SPEC ACH Fragmentation for 2gr, 4gr, 16gr, 17gr and 64gr RCC fragments.

The ACH/MICH - LE helmet comes standard with the traditional mesh 4-point harness to enhance size adjust ability, air flow and heat management.. Optional addition of USI BOA retention Harness is available.

About the optional USI BOA Retention Harness: The United Shield International BOA retention harness with Rapid Adjustment Dial is a stand-alone chinstrap to feature dial-adjustable fit that can be adjusted on the go. The Boa Fit System provides the ability to adjust fit, stabilize the helmet when running and in prone position, as well as increase comfort while remaining lightweight and durable. This Harness system is compatible with multiple helmet styles and manufacturers. The Boa Fit System’s patented technology delivers a secure fit in a matter of seconds. The micro-adjustable Boa dial allows for one-handed incremental adjustment to tighten and loosen, delivering a precise, effortless and custom fit on the go. This harness still offers the ability of having a quick release system to instantly loosen the harness around the crown of the head. The USI BOA responds to the dynamic loading conditions of a modern combat helmet. It is capable of withstanding the additional weight of head borne accessories, reducing the need for accessories such as counterweights.
