The Ruth Lee Bariatric-GEN2 Training Manikin is designed to provide rescue training on effectively handling heavier people. Built to offer realistic fluid performance, it enables rescue teams to consider how they will deal with obese casualties in the most realistic situations. Rather than just producing a heavy ‘lump’ of weight, this rescue manikin has been worked on comprehensively to achieve a ‘fluidity of movement’. It is provided with equal weight distribution around the body using 1 lb. packet of steel shot, separated by nylon coated padding. The nylon coating on the padding creates a realistic effect of ‘flabby skin’ of an obese person. Constructed in waterproof, Fire Retardant, polyester can be easily wiped clean and will not absorb body fluids. The manikin comes with reinforced coveralls, boots, and a drag sheet. The Ruth Lee Bariatric-GEN2 Training Manikin is available in different weight options to meet varied rescue training needs. It is extensively used by ambulance and fire crews to enable realistic training to its personnel.
